Installation was easy, fit my Anderson upper receiver perfectly and is rock solid. I'd argue the rail is one of the most important parts of an AR. but a little more M-LOK on the bottom section would go a long way. In conclusion, i think this would be good for anybody making a. For using a hand stop, even half an extra M-lok slot would be very helpful. With it only being 6" long up top, that gives you closer to 5.5" on the bottom. The one thing is this rail is cur back a bit at the front on the bottom. The rail is stiff enough for what I need but it's not supper thick, so if you need something extremely resistant to shift it may be a little on the lightweight side. The flash hider I'm using is the SIG 762 QD three prong. The length is perfect, with a 5/8 X 24 25deg tapered muzzle device the shoulder of my flash hider lines up perfectly with the front of the rail. I'm using this rail on a Q honey badger 7". So this is a review specific to the MI-CRM6.0 What seems like a simple no frills handguard, came with integrated QD points, great fit and finish, clear installation instructions, and a couple bits of swag in the box. Used this for my first build and have to say that I am impressed with the features that are built in to this product. There are other high-end rails out there but none better, at any price. They feel terrific in the hand, look terrific (shouldn’t matter, but hey I’m shallow), the build quality is exceptional and they hold zero very well. This is the second MI Combat Rail I’ve bought - also have an 11.5 on my shortie. It doesn't get any better, especially at this price. I have built two uppers with these, they look and function great, and are really lightweight, which is a plus. Superb style and finish, great looks, and easy yet solid installation. Hands down, these are the best rails you can buy. I love this rail! I put it on an SBR 12.5 inch 556 build and could only be happier if it had qd points at the forward tip of the forend.
